Chip Cannon led the Blue Jays organization in home runs during the 2005 season as he made the jump from Low Class-A to Double-A

--2005: Hit 32 HR over 3 levels, leading all Blue Jays minor leaguers...Selected to participate in Midwest League midseason All-Star game, but did not participate due to promotion... Named Blue Jays Minor League Star of the Month and Topps Florida State League Player of the Month in June...Homered in his 1st career AA at-bat July 10 vs. Portland...21 of his 42 hits with the Fisher Cats went for extra bases...Ranked as Toronto’s 16th best prospect by Baseball America
