The Syracuse Chiefs erased a 3-run defecit Wednesday night in a come from behind, extra innings win over the Rochester Red Wings. Syracuse won it on a tenth inning throwing error to third on Ray Olmedo's sac bunt attempt. Chiefs starter Michael MacDonald kept Syracuse in the game, but gave up a three run homerun to second baseman Mitch Talbot that gave Rochester the early lead.
