Lee Gronkiewicz was originally signed by the Cleveland Indians as a non-drafted free agent on June 9, 2001. The Blue Jays selected the right-hander in the minor league portion of the Rule V draft in December of 2004, and had a superb season with Toronto in his first season with the organization. Gronkiewicz has pitched well in every level, but has never received a fair chance in the major leagues. That could change in 2006.
