Do you remember the name of your elementary school principle? Of course you don’t. Why would you? Most people will not remember the name, however, for Ryan Adams he still does, and will likely always do. Adams went to Lake Castle elementary school in Louisiana. The principle at the time was Barry Butera, a former Tulane standout, who went on to play five years for the Red Sox Triple-A club. Butera went a long way in keeping Adams, and many other children playing baseball.
