Aaron Wideman had something to prove this season after struggling early on in 2006 and then missing nearly six weeks because of arm trouble. The 22-year-old has gone on to have a career year this season between Lansing and Dunedin, and has once again stapled himself as a solid prospect in the organization.

Wideman began the year with Low-A Lansing and pitched in four games as he was trying to build up his arm strength. The Canadian southpaw notched 21 2/3 innings with Lansing and went 3-0 with a 3.74 ERA.
