Jays Agree to Terms with Kyle Gilligan

The Toronto Blue Jays have agreed to terms with Canadian infielder Kyle Gilligan, the clubs 27th round selection in the 2007 draft.

Gilligan, 19, played for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the Intercounty Baseball League in 2007, batting .283 (32-113) in 27 games, with two home runs and 12 RBI. The Etobicoke native and Ontario Blue Jays product (2004-06) was a member of Canada’s National Junior Team in 2006. A 6’2” 185 lb. right-handed hitter, Gilligan also attended Connor State, Junior College in Oklahoma.
