In 2007, Savickas started six games for Dunedin (High-A), going 2-2, 2.70. In 36.2 IP, he allowed 11 ER, walked 5 and struck out 22.
The Providence native spent the 2006 season in three different levels. He started at Low-A Lansing and after going 2-2 with a 3.18 ERA in 14 starts, he was promoted to High-A Dunedin. In 13 starts he went 6-4 with a 4.11 ERA. Savickas also made one start with Triple-A Syracuse and allowed three runs in three-plus innings.
Toronto selected the 23-year-old in the 9th round of the 2002 draft out of Johnston, RI (HS).
The Fisher Cat roster now stands at 24.
