Lansing added two players to their roster on Wednesday, putting them at the maximum of 25 players. Joey Metropoulos was activated from the disabled list, and Graham Godfrey was transferred from extended spring training.
Metropoulos, 23, has battled an injury plagued professional career. He batted .270 with 11 home runs and 56 runs batted in last season for Lansing. In three minor league seasons he has 23 career home runs and 114 runs batted in, while batting .270. Metropoulos was selected by the Blue Jays in the ninth round of the 2004 draft.
Godfrey was selected in the 34th round of the 2006 draft and received a six-figure signing bonus to come out of college and sign. He signed late last year, and as a result did not appear in any games, and spent the first month of this season in extended spring training.
