RHP Mike MacDonald and catcher Brian Bormaster received promotions to Triple-A Syracuse. Bormaster was promoted because Curtis Thigpen has been sidelined recently with the flu. MacDonald received his promotion on the eve of possibly setting the all-time record for wins by a Fisher Cats pitcher. The right-hander was 3-1 with a 2.51 ERA in 5 starts this season for New Hampshire. He went 13-9 last year and his 16 career wins tie him for first with Ismael Ramirez.
RHP Orlando Trias, LHP Kurt Isenberg, and OF Ryan Patterson were promoted to New Hampshire. Trias went 2-3 with a 3.90 ERA in five starts for Dunedin this season, while Isenberg went 2-3 with a 3.81 ERA. Ryan Patterson was in Dunedin for a week rehabbing from his broken wrist suffered in spring training.
Left-handed pitcher Aaron Wideman received a promotion to Single-A Dunedin. He went 3-0 with a 3.74 ERA in four starts for Lansing this season.
Lansing will play with 23 active players, two short of the maximum.
