Davis Romero will miss the entire 2007 season after undergoing surgery on Thursday.

Romero had been shut down since he reported to camp because of pain in his shoulder and during the week it was decided he needed surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

Romero will miss the entire 2007 season. He went 1-0 in 7 games with Toronto during 2006 and posted a 3.86 ERA in 16 1/3 innings.

He was expected to battle for a bullpen spot before spring training began.
