Spring Training '07: Travis Snider Interview

Spring Training '07: Travis Snider Interview

To officially kick off our spring training coverage we have an audio interview with 2006 first round pick Travis Snider. The outfielder talks about his past season, his outlook for 2007 and more.

Travis Snider had an amazing 2006 season with Pulaski as he was contending for the league's triple crown award before wrist tendinitis forced him to sit out the end of the year. The injury didn't keep Snider out for long as he was back in extended spring training working on his defense and his overall game.

After batting .325 with Pulaski in 54 games and hitting 11 home runs with 41 runs batted in, Snider is expected to begin the season with Single-A Lansing.

Due to equipment failure the interview cuts off for 10 seconds at about the 3 minute mark, but no audio segment is missed (just dead air is heard).
