InsideTheDome has learned that the Toronto Blue Jays released left-handed pitcher Jordan Timm last week.

Timm was released three days before his 26th birthday and a year after going 4-2 with a 5.02 ERA in the Midwest League with Lansing.

Despite dominating the Midwest League in 2005 going 2-0 with a 2.47 ERA, Timm repeated the level again in 2006 and remained in Lansing for the entire season.

Originally drafted in the 14th round of the 2004 draft the Appleton, Wisconsin native was 9-4 with a 3.62 ERA in three seasons with Toronto. The 6-foot-6, 230 pound southpaw reached the Florida State League in 2005, but pitched in just one game with Dunedin.
