Jays Close to Signing Two Free Agents

Frank Thomas was not the only player the Blue Jays signed this past weekend. The Jays minor league department was busy continuing making free agent signings to add depth to their Triple-A and Double-A clubs. Over the weekend the Blue Jays came close to signed another right-handed reliever, and an outfielder.

Mike Vento is expected to sign a minor league deal with Toronto, after electing free agency last month when he decided to leave the Washington Nationals organization.
