Winter Ball: McGowan Pitches Well

Dustin McGowan was making his third start of the fall on Monday afternoon, and picked up the victory tossing five innings, and allowing two runs. We caught up with a scout that has watched all three of his starts in Arizona to find out about any improvements he's making.

Solid defense enabled McGowan to get out of the first innings without a run in. After allowing a single to Eric Patterson, he stole second, and advanced to third on a fly out to center.
