Syracuse SkyChiefs closer Lee Gronkiewicz picked up the win as Team USA defeated Cuba, 8-5, on Tuesday in the gold-medal game of the Olympic qualifying tournament. Gronkiewicz (1-0) pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings allowing just one hit and no walks while striking out three Cubans to pick up the win.
