The 23-year-old Lind was named the 2006 Eastern League Most Valuable Player yesterday.
He began this season with the Fisher Cats, where he hit .310 with 19 home runs and 71 RBI in 91 games before getting promoted to Class Triple-A Syracuse on July 25.
At the time of his promotion, he led the Eastern League in home runs and RBI and ranked second in batting average.
In 34 games with Syracuse, he hit .394 with five homers and 18 RBI.
He was originally selected by Toronto in the third round of the 2004 draft out of the University of South Alabama.
