Don't Blame The Pitchers

Gronkiewicz say's the pitching is solid

Syracuse, N.Y.--The Syracuse SkyChiefs have dropped five straight through Monday's 1-0 loss to the Buffalo Bisons but don't lay the blame on the pitching staff. Syracuse has dropped six of its 11 defeats this season by one run and has kept its opponents to 16 runs in those six games while scoring 10.

Ty Taubenheim has suffered two, 1-0 losses alone. "Right now we have one of the best staffs in the league," SkyChiefs alternate closer Lee Gronkiewicz said. "Look at the numbers we have. Look at the starters we have, were not walking anybody and were striking people out."
