Marcum profiles as a great reliever

The Toronto Blue Jays selected Shaun Marcum in the third round of the 2003 Major League Baseball Draft out of Southwest Missouri State University. Marcum has shown amazing command during his time with the Jays organization, and his control has raised him to an elite status – giving him a chance to win every game. During his prep career, Marcum attended Excelsior Springs High School in Missouri. He was a four-time all-conference selection and he was twice named all-state as he led the Tigers to conference champions in each of his last two seasons.
