2005 Season in Review: RHP Tracy Thorpe

Tracy Thorpe is a twenty-four year old right-hander who has split his season between Dunedin and New Hampshire. He started the season in Florida and pitched quite well before earning a mid-season promotion to the pitching rich Eastern League. Thorpe was the Jays 11th round pick in the 2000 draft and had struggled at low-a before getting it together at Dunedin in 2004.

The biggest key to Thorpe's success has been the same as for any pitcher, namely, getting ahead and making the hitters hit his pitch. He feels like he has been able to do that better this season than any other in his career.
