LHP Trifecta: Jackson, Purcey, Romero Promoted

LHP Zach Jackson stay at Double-A was not long as the left-hander was given a promotion to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday evening after appearing in just nine games for New Hampshire.

The left-hander went 4-3 with a 4.00 ERA in fifty-four innings with the Fisher Cats. Jackson allowed fifty-seven hits, issued twelve walks and struck out forty-three batters. In his last two starts Jackson went 2-0 with 1.20 ERA. Jackson allowed one run or less and went seven or eight innings in four of his nine starts this season with New Hampshire.

Jackson began this season with Dunedin and went 8-1 with a 2.88 ERA. Over his last six starts with Dunedin he went 6-0 with a 0.68 ERA.

LHP David Purcey will also receive a promotion to New Hampshire from Dunedin and as first reported by InsideTheDome earlier this evening LHP Ricky Romero will receive a promotion to Dunedin from Auburn.
