Syracuse Dominate with Hitting and Pitching
The SkyChiefs scored nine runs and accumulated fourteen hits in their 9-0 victory over Buffalo Monday evening. Aaron Hill led the charge going 2-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBI. Jason Alfaro doubled in two runs, while scoring another run. Bryant Nelson, Gabe Gross, Eric Crozier and Andy Dominique also added an RBI in the game. Center fielder Anton French picked up three hits in five at bats and scored a run.
Chris Baker picked up the victory going five innings and allowing two hits, one walk while striking out three batters. Mike Nannini replaced Baker in the sixth and went three innings allowing two hits. Jason Arnold pitched the ninth inning retiring the side in order.

Fisher Cats Go Scoreless in Defeat
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats had a tough time finding home plate as they were shut out Monday night by Norwich by a score of 2-0.Ron Davenport and Vito Chiaravalloti each picked up two hits in the loss and Maikel Jova, Rob Cosby, Erik Kratz and Brad Hassey added a hit each.
Shaun Marcum picked up the loss, however, faired quite well lasting six innings and allowing two runs on six hits, while walking none and striking out six in the process. Josue Matos relieved Marcum and pitched two scoreless innings as he struck out four batters, and Steve Andrade pitched the ninth striking out two batters.

Dunedin Falls at Sarasota
After three straight games of over fourteen hits, Dunedin fell back to reality and struggled at the plate as they dropped a 5-1 decision Monday evening. Davis Romero picked up the loss allowing seven hits and four runs in 4 2/3 innings. He did strike out seven without allowing a walk. Ryan Prahm relieved Romero and allowed one run on two hits, and Brad Mumma allowed no runs in his 2 1/3 innings of work.
The only RBI for Dunedin came on a Jason Waugh double which scored Eric Arnold who reached base on a single. Adam Lind had two hits in the loss.
